With a modest 8' x 21' addition to the existing footprint of a majestic 1812 historic colonial revival/neo-rationalist home in the flats of Winchester, this home was remarkably transformed. The addition allowed for a sunny eating nook with custom upholstered benches, blue granite counters and a new mudroom with red birch millwork and a small desk area. Selective renovations throughout the home were sensitive to marrying the old and new.
